Junior Church Newsletter June 2007

Our Anniversary services went very well.  The puppets, similar to the muppets were very professional and great fun delivering their message of building on a firm rock.

We had nearly forty to our Anniversary tea and then on to our evening service.  Doreen Sparey Delacassa, led the service which had quite a different feel to it, when we could see what a good storyteller she is, carrying the same strong message to us.

Thank you to all who helped with the staging and sound.

A couple of our young people attended the Churches Together in Callington service on Whit Sunday at the Town Hall.

Two of our young people were dressed 'up to the nines' on May 19th Summer Ball held at St Mellion for the Year 11 May leaver' Ball.  The ball gown,  hand made by the the year 11 student was of black chiffon over cream satin dress adorned with red, cream and black flowers with diamante straps that she had made herself.  Our other Year 11 wore a dark suit, dress shirt with wing collar, gold bow tie and matching cummerbund.
