The Juniors and Text Club got together at the
beginning of the month to see a musical video re-telling the
story of Moses. Since then, they've had a session entitled
'It's Aye Bin...!' focusing on remembering traditions, how they
can bring freedom from fear and help us to focus our minds on
knowing that God chooses, loves and looks after us. Then
in 'Play Your Part' they studied Paul's letter to the
Thessalonians exploring how we can use, update or create rituals
that will help us consider how we can play our part in our
Church family and not be afraid to take up responsibilities.
Finally 'The Real King' contrasted the earthly kings who have
failed to shepherd the people of Israel with a new king that is
to come.
Four of our Junior Church teachers went along
to Central Methodist Church in Launceston to the introductory
session of the Core Skills for Children's Work.
Many of our members have taken part in school
concerts, the Callington Youth Music Festival and our own recent
Proms, Praise and Popular Songs' evening.
The gifts from our Toy Service are being used
for learning by disabled young people helped by the NCH Cornwall
SPACE project. Thank you for your support.
